This is a great opportunity to showcase your investing skills to industry professionals and compete with other top universities around the country. Additional information is included below:

  1. Teams of 2-4 undergraduates must fill out the application with their contact information and presentations (in PDF format) no later than January 26th at 11:59PM EST.

  2. Selected teams will be notified by January 30th. Additional information about the schedule & logistics will be provided at that time.

  3.   An introductory reception will be held at the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business campus on the evening of February 24th. This will feature an introduction to our program and the competition, a speaker panel of industry professionals, and a notable keynote speaker. This is mandatory for all SPC participants. Lodging will be provided for each team for the night of February 24th.

  4. The actual competition will take place on February 25th, from roughly 8:00am to 3:00pm EST. The first round of pitches will take place in the morning. After breaking for lunch, finalists will be announced. The top three teams will present for a fresh lineup of judges, and win a total of $5000. First place will receive $3,000, second place will receive $1,500, and third place will receive $500.

  6. Recommendations should be grounded in high-quality, fundamental research.

  7. First round presentations should be a maximum of 12 minutes in length, followed by roughly 8 minutes of Q&A with judges.

  8. The time limit will be extended in the final round to 15 minutes followed by 10 minutes in Q&A.
